Salseros

In attempt to find a blend of form and function, I came up with the idea to make salsa dishes (salseros).  I was able to give it a sort of "Aztec" look, which seems appropriate for Mexican food.  These are carved of walnut, and take about 90 minutes to carve.

Coasters

I made a batch of 10 of these for the Del Valle Cafe, where my first art exhibition was hosted.  Later I made a few more for my girlfriend, with her initials, of course...
